Chuup is one of the few places that persevered during the construction of Atria. They had a decent share of attention, thanks to their pork chop which not many places choose to do.

Grandma's Pork Chuup RM 19.90: shallow fried marinated pork loin served with homemade egg spinach and potato carrot ragout
If you're familiar with the Hakka style of pork chop, this should look pretty familiar. While they didn't go for that sweet tomat sauce, the savory ragout gravy was not bad. The spinach was an odd one, kinda like minced spinach? Sadly, I found the meat to be a bit dry on the inside. That's the problem with leaner meat cuts.Yea, there's that strip of fat around the edges but... where got enough?

Aglio olio with serai and pork strips RM 15.90: spaghettini and aragula tossed with lightly sauteed garlic and serai in garlic infused olive oil
This dish confused my taste buds to no end. It's pasta but the fried shallots and lemon grass (serai) is telling me it's not pasta. Call it an Asian-Western fusion gone wrong. The elements, on their own, were great. Together? Probably like me and all my exes.

Grilled chicken chop with sweet potato fries and ciabatta.
The sauce was a little too sweet. Fries almost on the burnt side. Healthy, yes. Great, not so.
