There is no dearth of reasonably good Chinese restaurants in Klang. It's like everyone in Klang will try to look for an opportunity to open a restaurant even if it means turning their homes into one (not an uncommon sight in Pandamaran). Luckily, this one is located at the fringe of Klang town and no difficult maneuvering required.

A hidden gem of the locals, the place has increased the price over the years that some no longer find it attractive. Despite having moved out from Klang barely a decade ago, I don't identify myself as a Klang-ite at all. Maybe Ipoh since that's my birth town but Klang? Who wants to associate themselves with a town that's known for gangsters and fatty pork?

Roast meat platter that included duck and sweet pork. The pork has a good fat-lean meat ratio with a slightly caramelized skin. Sweet and savory, it's unfortunate that it still can't beat Famous Seremban one. The duck was not bad as well with the meat missing that pungentness. Again, the skin could have been crispier.

Sweet fried pork belly slices.
OMFG, this is like da bomb. Crunchy and sweet, all possible only by slicing it real thin before deep frying. So awesome, so sinful.

Stir fry sweet potato leaves.
There's something homely about how a plain dish that's flavored mainly by garlic can be elevated with fresh crunchy vegetables.

Nyonya-style steamed fish.
Slightly spicy but all fresh, the fish is quite fleshy and we truly enjoyed it. Don't worry, it's not all that spicy.
