There are quite a few hidden gems in this hood. If you're looking for good bread and pastry, look no further than Touche. Or so I heard. Since it would take an insane amount of bread and cake to feel adequately satisfied, we gave it a pass and ordered proper meal instead.
They do close quite early at night so forget about hanging out here into the wee hours.
Orange juice RM 11.90
Am I the only one who feels that ordering juices in restaurants is a major ripoff?
Bacon & ham sandwich RM 21.90: bread with beef bacon, ham, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, honey dressing and mixed green.
I don't usually order sandwich (except at Subway) but when I do, I make sure it creates a statement 🗡The bread is not very thick or thin, quite fluffy with a bit of crunch to be able to hold the fillings well. The salad is thrown in to make it a nutritious meal.
Look at all that meat.
And then it's impossible to eat it without squashing them all together to fit in the mouth. A mouthful of happiness. Pricey sandwich, no doubt but it puts Subway to shame.
Grilled dory fish RM 23.90: grilled dory fish served with spicy wedges, broccoli, carrot, garlic aioli and mixed green
A proper fish fillet and none of that frozen crap. It's grilled and seasoned lightly so you can still taste the freshness of the fish. I found that there was a little bit too much going on in the plate but bang for your bucks?
