Sometimes, love make you do silly things. Like driving all the way to Bangi from Puchong, solely for badminton racquet. Not for the love of the game but of money. Did you know that a racquet could cost up to few hundreds, maybe even a thousand? So my friend wanted to go to a sports warehouse sale to get them cheap.

When asked if the racquet was worth the trip, taking the fuel, toll, money and time spent, it was a resounding yes as he managed to get one at less than RM 100. If not for the promise of free food, I wouldn't have ended up there too. Google recommended this place and it turned out to be rather legit.

Nasi beriani daging RM 9.50
The rice was excellent, slightly grainy, not soft like the usual white rice. The cucumber gave a nice sweet, sour touch. As for the meat, it was cooked for a long time as you could easily pull it apart with your fork. Definitely bang for your bucks because the rice was alot, the meat was quite substantial.

Nasi beriani kambing RM 11.50
Compared to my last plate of briyani, this is heaven sent. Fatty mutton ribs that have been cooked long enough for the fat to almost melt in the yummy gravy, it's sinful but very well worth it. They cooked it with the right amount of spices that you don't get that distinct mutton flavor, or at least not so obvious. Again, this was a very large portion and highly recommend you to share if you're a small eater.

Zomato says they may have a branch in Setapak but I don't know for sure if they are the same. If not for the distance, I would happily come back again on days when there's a need to reward myself.
