My very first visit to the ever popular
Two Pesos franchise is actually at this very branch. It's not unusual to see a crowd outside the shop during dinner hour. Particularly so on rainy nights.

I find their sweet drinks somewhat too sweet especially after the meal. Some say that's good, for me it's too much.
Two Pesos' concept is ideal when you want to eat with other people but don't want to be literally sharing your food with them as everybody gets their individual pot. Kinda hygienic in a way. But, portion is noticeably smaller than what you'll get outside. I do appreciate them cutting up the veggie into smaller piece, even if that's to fit into their small pots and not for aesthetic or customer convenience reasons.
Slices of pork and beef. The ratio of vegetable to meat is very disheartening.
Which is why you add on more meat balls. At RM 4.80 per plate, it's not as expensive as typical steamboat restaurants. Of course, taste is fine but don't expect the flavors to burst into your mouth.
The Mongolian herb. Now you know what I mean about small pot.
None of that fishy soup taste. Nor is it too strong with herbs. A little sweet from the goji berry.
