 Between coffee and tea, I would pick the latter as it feels healthier without milk. Chinese tea is the best as it's usually quite mild without any added sugar. It's strange when I see gwailos add sugar to their tea. And the milk. Like, which planet are you from? Come to think of it, that's probably like our teh tarik minus the tarik.

We passed by this tea joint and decided to give it a try since they were having a buy one free one.

Their menu is tea, tea and yes, more tea. Separated into different types (white, rooibos, herbal, etc), they are more than happy to let you smell the tea to help you make up your mind. Similar to Tea Verandah but instead of test tubes or a small canister, they store their leafs in a large round hat box. It was made of steel. They were almost half filled up. They have quite a big selection of tea 😂

 Which is why it's important to go through their menu and finalize your picks. Or you could be an a-hole and make them open all.

 For their iced tea, it came with these pearls, very unlike the Taiwanese bubble tea pearls as these were considerably smaller, don't come with that pop when you bite them, certainly not chewy at all. Heck, also like no taste 😅But you can definitely feel them in your mouth. They are apparently tea suspended in edible spheres made daily every morning. I don't know... I still prefer my unhealthy but chewy tapioca balls.

I tried two flavors. Immortal berry and berry delight. The good thing about their menu is it tell you what the tea is good for and its caffeine level. Both of these were relatively low (to none) in caffeine as it was already evening when we had them. It was slightly sweet. Bearable with the iced version, not so much with the hot one.
