One of those places that serve traditional dishes, Hoi Kee Heng Hwa has certainly withstood the test of time by serving Hakka dishes that are authentic enough for them to remain in business for a long time.

Nothing Hakka about this dish of stir fry spinach. A simple dish that doesn't need a lot to satisfy the soul. Maybe except for fresh vegetables.

Oyster omelet.
All my years of eating orh jien, it was my first time having it served with cilantro and peanuts. What's the point??

Also, why so much of green spring onion? Why is the oyster so puny compared to Klang's? All that aside, the omelet's not bad with a slight sticky/chewy texture. I think it would have been better without so much of the green stuff.

Local rock oysters are much smaller than the imported Thai ones. But the local oysters are more flavourful and springier. Traditionally Fried Oyster Omelette (Oh Chian) is fried in tapioca flour and served with cilantro and occasionally peanuts too.
You should have some knowledge of the dishes you are going to critique. That's what critics do. Whereas empty vessels just shoot their mouths off.
It looks like you've proven yourself right on this occasion- you did indeed eat and write crap!
