The one thing that you should give a try while in Paris it would be crepes. If there's a place to get them, it'll be here. The entire street is lined up with cafes selling them. Savory or sweet, you are spoilt for choices. The only issue would be if you have the stomach space, metabolism and money to try them all.

We settled for this which was quite crowded inside. General rule of thumb when it comes to Parisian cafes: you are charged higher if you choose to sit outside. Meanwhile in Malaysia, we all want to congregate indoor because it's too hot outside.

Cappuccino.
Nothing special. I'm beginning to think that the cafes in general rip off tourists.

Nutella crepe topped with caramel.
My other experience with crepe gave me an inkling of an idea of what to expect.  However, to be trying the real McCoy was nothing like that. For one, the crepe was much thinner but held the filling well. The sticky caramel and the sweet Nutella inside were a marriage made in heaven crepe. It was perfect. Except that you don't really have the luxury of sitting for long and enjoy the atmosphere.
