Remember Me Seafood Restaurant (记得海鲜饭店), Pulau Ketam

Despite having grown up in Klang, I've never set foot on this island my entire life. Or least not that I could recall of. This is why it's a waste of money bringing your toddlers to fancy trips. My parents certainly did well in that department.

The island trip itself would have to wait for another time as we'll talk about the food. There is no shortage of Chinese seafood restaurants on Pulau Ketam. The question is which draws you more with their bargain. We opted for this because every place looks just as crowded and this had a table available.

Stir fried veggie looked kinda miserable. Thankfully, it doesn't taste like that.

Fried squid was crunchily enjoyable. Lightly coated and deep fried until crispy, I love the tentacles best.

 Sweet and sour crab.
You would expect the island's namesake to be good, if not great. Unfortunately, it was mediocre at best. Not to say it wasn't fresh but certainly didn't taste very much like it. Only saving grace was the finger licking good sauce. Sweet with a tinge of sourness.
