I do like this neighborhood as it has quite a few food choices and the place isn't too crowded or busy. The journey to get there though 😓We passed by this shop few times and it was always crowded. If there are so many people so many times, there must be something they know that we don't. The first thing that struck us as odd was how there's Japanese elements yet everyone seemed to be having bowls of Chinese noodle. I thought that maybe they inherited the restaurant and was too lazy to update the signage but they actually do serve some Japanese dishes. Weird combination but that they do.

Claypot glass noodle. It came with few fish and pork balls. Nothing fancy. If you are looking for something simple, this is it. If you're the kind who likes more excitement, this will be too bland then.

Seafood and pork noodle. Try this instead if the thought of plain noodle is too boring. It did come with a generous amount of pork lard that you can taste in the soup as well. They also provided lots of minced fatty pork. The best kind truly.

Grilled salmon.
I was intrigued and wanted something more. Usually, a piece of salmon at any Japanese restaurant would be almost RM 20. This was almost there but not quite. The fish was grilled until the skin is crispy, tad bit oily on the inside. Otherwise, spot on.

 Dry pork noodle.
The first thing that came to mind when I ate the noodles was "omfg, wtfisthisshit?! where have you been all my life?!?!?!" I am not a huge fan of pork noodles in general as they all taste about the same everywhere.

Everywhere but here, that is. Again, the secret is the pork lard that they've added to the noodle. The soup here is definitely more porky and much better than the other soup version as you don't have the seafood and noodles diluting its taste. Most certainly one of the best pork noodles I've ever had 😍

Curry mee next door also famous for many years, just remember to sit outside for more 'comfy' seating

I don't like this pork noodle that much (it was much nicer when it was a stall in a kopitiam nearby, many many years ago).

The Ah Loy curry mee next door is a KL legend.
