 Another long standing cafe in Damansara Uptown, Lafayette has managed to keep business up despite being located on the first floor of the infamous row with many hipster cafes but no parking space.

The ambience is great for catching up with your girlfriends or on a date.

 Hawaiian chicken chop RM 21.90: grilled chicken chop topped with fried egg, grilled pineapple, a slice of cheese and finished with cherry. served with garden salad and mashed potatoes
Thanks to Pizza Hut, the words hawaiian chicken will forever be synonymous to me with thick dough, not enough tomato sauce, sourish sweet pineapple, cheese chicken. So, this was an odd combination for me. I think the hawaiian concept  works best on pizza, not chicken chop.

Sorry but I can't recall if this was the beef or chicken chop 😅 It did fare better than the previous dish with stronger flavors. However, the unconventional flavor profile is just a little too confusing for my palette.

Maybe I should stick to their pasta and dessert as those seem to be their forte.
