The signboard on the outside clearly says Kajang Hot Pepper Soup but their name is really Ju Yuan. Whether or not it's related to the one in BU, I'm not so sure myself.

Hot pepper soup.
You can pick the size depending on your company and appetite. As it's served in a claypot, the soup remains hot longer than usual. I like it as there's nothing sadder than lukewarm (or god forbid, cold) Chinese soup. They did give the usual pork parts alongside the not-so-usual innards. For some fiber, there's the golden mushroom. I wouldn't say that it's very spicy, peppery hot though the  temperature of the soup certainly did make me sweat a bit.

Blanched iceberg lettuce in soy sauce and garlic.
A little something healthier to balance all that porky goodness out. Fresh and a bit crunchy.

Steamed tofu.
I don't know how anyone could get this wrong. Maybe if they use really bad soy sauce. The fried shallots did give the tofu a savory note. So when things get too spicy from the soup, have some tofu to even things out.

Iced cendol.
Was it too much or wrong of me to expect a proper bowl and not a mini ice cream cup of shaved ice drizzled with gula melaka? Kinda overpriced but at least they used the thick syrup and not the diluted version.
