A buffet spread of food that I'm not very fond of but at a very attractive price, how many of you would be able to let that go? Korean food is a new territory for me, slowly gaining more acceptance on my part. Ordinarily, the concept of paying to eat as much as you can doesn't apply to food that you merely accept. But when it's less than RM 40, it was a hard offer to pass.Bandar Baru Sri Petaling,

Also, this place is usually very crowded. We were there really early so got a table after 5mins. There are 2options available. We went for the cheaper one which didn't have the steamboat option. Not that we cared much about kimchi soup and udon. Plus there were enough food to try out from the basic menu to keep one satisfied.
At the back, they have a mini spread of ready made food. Fruit salad, hotdog and rice balls. The salad acted almost like a dessert while the rest are more savory, made for in between the meat-waiting. The rice ball deserves a special mention as it's slightly salty with hints of seaweed.
There's also seaweed if you feel guilty from pigging out over the pork belly.
Onion pancake. It has hints of kimchi without being too spicy. Love the crispy edges. Definitely must order.
While we didn't make the order the first round, this was served to us by default. Actually, the first round was where they gave us everything on their basic buffet spread. Not much but you do get to try them all before ordering seconds. Their kimchi soup is a bit spicy. What was surprising is the amount of ingredients which included glass noodle, tofu and meat.
Steamed egg. Compared to Japanese's version, the Korean's is almost always too dry. It almost doesn't taste of anything that the soup came in very handy to not only give it some much needed moisture but also taste. Sorry, Korean food lovers but I'm no where near your level.
Mixed BBQ meat platter. There's chicken, pork, pork belly and hamburger patty. They were all freshly grilled that you could still see it sizzle. The patty was another surprising winner as it was not only thick, also cooked through and through without being dry on the inside. Chicken was all right. Best thing here is the pork belly. Fat and lean meat together, when the powers combine, it becomes a sinfully juicy goody.
Ice cream to end the night. Nothing fancy but after all that food, who has any more space left?
The buffet did come with cold Korean tea. If you love (cheap) Korean food, make this a stop. As to whether it's good enough to be a Korean joint, you tell me.
