This mall has seen a number of tenants come and go. Yet, it never seems to die. There is the saying that if you want your mall to succeed, make sure that it has a cinema. Maybe GSC is doing TCM a favor as businesses come and go, while only a minority of the pioneer stores are still in operation today.

KD Hong Kong happens to be one who wants to make it in this otherwise sleepy mall. It's their third outlet, offering the usual HK char chan teng fares, not unlike Kim Gary. While Kim Gary offers quite a plethora of set meals, most of the items in here are ala carte.

 Roast duck noodle.
Surprisingly, the noodle was quite nice though the feedback was wantan mee would have been nicer. This is a slightly thicker noodle but not the yellow noodle type. The duck tasted quite nice, it didn't have that pungentness  to it.

Spicy Japanese noodle with pork belly and (half) hard boiled egg, the last two are hidden underneath all that spinach noodle. Although they don't have much sets, they do provide you with different options for your noodles and ingredients. Mine had alternatives of udon/ramen, pork belly/bacon. It's not really that spicy, just enough to sweat a bit. They were generous with the mixed vegetables. Overall, quite a satisfying bowl but it's slightly above average.

Lets just say that it's a wee bit more worth it than those Nissin noodles.

Fried fish paste ball with salted egg yolk. I love anything fried so this didn't go wrong, especially not with that mayo and cheese sauce 😍 It was crunchy on the outside and the filling most certainly didn't fail.

If anything, I was thoroughly surprised that they gave quite a big yolk. In each half of the ball, I daresay that there's easily half a sizeable portion of yolk. 👼 It's unfortunate that it was slightly dry on the inside and it didn't come with enough mayo. Yes, there's a side of coleslaw which also unfortunately had too much of raw onion.

it may be out of topic. do you walk to the counter to pay the bill or does the waitress send the bill to you and collect the money?

I was there when they first opened. so things were rather chaotic and we went over to the cashier instead.
