They actually have two branches in Puchong. We didn't know that they were that famous because we would usually go for the restaurant behind for Chinese taichow. Turned out that these guys serve pretty good food too.

Their yin yong wa tan hor was quite large for a single pax portion. Surprisingly, it came with squid and not-so-little prawn as well. However, that wasn't quite what I came here for.

Peanut and lotus root soup. Soups and claypot chicken rice go hand in hand. You can't (really) have one without another. The soup was cooked long enough for the peanut and lotus root to go soft. I would have like for the peanut to be softer but the soup tastes great enough and I'm looking forward to trying their other soups (there's even a coconut chicken soup).

Claypot chicken rice for 1. It may look small but it's more than enough to feed a hungry man. There isn't that much of meat but the rice more than makes up for it by being cooked perfectly. Once you mix the rice with the sauce, be prepared to feast on something homely. Although I opted to add lap cheong and ham yu, only the former was more visible. I don't think they gave much of the salted fish.
