Located a stone's throw away from Where Else Cafe, they opened up to much fanfare. Service was slow but I put it down to teething issue. After few months, we returned here since our first visit was a fairly good one. At 7pm or before peak dinner hour, you would expect service to be quick especially since there weren't that many other tables around. Sadly, the food still took some time to arrive.

Fish and chips RM 12.90
The first thing that strikes you is their rather affordable menu. You'll be spoilt for choices and best of all, majority of the meals come under RM 20. Of course, that did translate to a smaller portion but you get a bit of everything without paying more. That's a bargain by my books.
One may argue that this is a sad excuse for a fried fish but the fact  is, you get what you pay for. At least they didn't try to fool you by coating it with a thick batter to give the illusion of size. Taste wise, it's not too bad.

Fried chicken chop RM 15.90
This one did get that thick batter treatment but hey, it's deep fried and came straight out of the fryer. Be careful to let it cool for awhile or risk biting your tongue. Although the chicken was a bit dry, they did serve it with some mushroom sauce which I think was a bit off. Not quite mushroom taste, you know?

Taroball series RM 7.90
If this looks and sounds suspiciously familiar, yes, it is indeed a ripoff Snowflake's. However, Snowflake can rest assure that they have nothing at all to worry about. The ice is a bit too coarse. The sweet potato is a bit chunky, with some parts of it still need more cooking time. Only the pearl and barley matched Snowflakes. The worst of the lot was the only reason I ordered this: taro ball. These were under cooked so it's soft on the outside but almost hard on the inside.

Sorely disappointed because they did quite well with the rest of their food.

Creamy wheat soup
This fared much better than mine. Sweet and came with bits of wheat, the perfect sweet ending.
