They certainly took a long time to prepare, as though to build up the anticipation. But the problem with that is, take too long and nobody would bother/care anymore. Hailing from China, there's a story behind this noodle shop. If it comes with a story all the way from my supposed country, there has to be something in each bowl. So, was/is it worth the wait?

 Braised spare rib RM 11.90
The first thing that'll cross your mind is the bowl is not exactly small. It's slightly larger than your usual bowl and has quite a fair bit of ingredients. Nothing complicated really, with the noodles, shredded carrot and the pork. What sets it apart is the taste. The soup to be specific. This one isn't fishy nor meaty. I can't quite pinpoint what kind of stock they use but it was definitely good til the last drop.

 Minced chili beef RM 13.90
I opted for the spicy soup version to see how different it'll taste. Turns out, very different. For starters, the spiciness doesn't hit you immediately. However, you may be sweating a bit at the end of the meal if you finish the soup (which you should). I'm inclined to say a different soup base is used for mine but it may be the same except with the addition of chili to spice things up. The beef slices aren't the sukiyaki/shabu-shabu thin version. Quite unfortunate as that would have made it all the better.

Clearly, the star here is the noodle. It is like the anorexic version of lai fun but smoother with a bit more texture to them. Good enough to slurp, each bowl came with a generous portion of the noodle. Best with their soup, spicy or not.
