Movies: The Rite (2011)

The first thing that struck me was how is there such a handsome priest trying not to be a priest, what more an exorcist. But Colin O'Donoghue played the main character rather well, believable even opposite the commandeering Sir Anthony Hopkins as his mentor. In a rather apt plot twist, you get to see how the pupil later takes on the master.





Supposedly based on true events, maybe it is far fetched by today's standard. When was the last time you heard of possessions? Sorry, mass hysteria don't count even if we now have kits to deal with them.
