Review: S1mone

Everyone's raving about the Oscar. Some are arguing about the winner of this year's movie (Birdman btw). Some are bitter over the choices. And then there was me spending my Saturday night watching this movie. Released back in 2002, it stars Al Pacino as a movie producer who's down and out of his luck after his latest 3 movies flopped.

Salvation came when a computer programmer on the verge of death hands him his latest project which was inspired by his talk about not needing human for movies anymore in a symposium few years ago. What transpired after that is nothing short of happy ending but like everything that goes up, it needs to come down eventually. I find the ending a little too unrealistic but hey, it's a happy ending and we all could do with one.
