Located in Restoran Okay, it is probably one of the reasons why the restaurant is open at night as the other stalls (except for the
tai chow) is open at night.
You can opt for the healthier normal white rice but I find their oily rice is the perfect companion for the meat.
The braised tofu is slightly firm and maybe quite bland but the gravy works well with the chili sauce. Like a perfect marriage if such a thing exists. The braised pork intestines are also highly commendable. Even if you don't ordinarily take intestines, give this one a try as it's been cooked long enough that it has little semblance to its original form.
The stewed meat, however, still does have that slight duck taste. Not an issue unless you utterly detest the gamey taste.
In all honesty, all the dishes here has a singular flavor, married to the different protein's taste. The base flavor is the same but the chili sauce elevates the flavor differently.
