The Hub is a newer part of SS2 but judging from Google Maps, it might fall under SS19. Located just a stone's throw away from the ill-fated SS2 mall, it's home to quite a few new trendy joints. One of which is this cafe that looks simple on the outside but once you open the door, the place is bustling with conversation on a Sunday afternoon.
Oh, it was a really hot day so perhaps everyone was seeking refuge like me?
Their cakes are rather affordable (on average RM 13/slice) when compared to other cafes. Coffee and tea are on the menu, alongside ice blended local favorite desserts which were quite pricey at ~RM 13 but turned out that it's in kakigori style. Very pretty for the 'gram, very not up my alley since my 'gram is so not happening.
Unlike the usual carrot cake, this one wasn't that sweet and the cream in the middle (and top) wasn't so cheesy. Perfect to pair with tea, not coffee as that's too bitter for it.
