True enough, the milkshake fade died before it really took off. In its place is a swanky bar but in Uptown, there are plenty of those to go around. What makes 300 stand out apart from a name that's quite synonymous with a movie? Maybe they are more cafe than a pub which would make it somewhat family friendly.
The burger looked quite big but that's only because of the lettuce propping it up. I tried a bite around the edges and wasn't very impressed with the lack of juiciness and slight charring but that could be attributed to the location of my bite. The good thing is they offer a choice of salad or fries.
The best thing about this is the mashed potato. So good that they decide to give you two scoops of it. Smooth and buttery, best to have it while it's hot because they taste worse than KFC's once cooled down. Same salad but with additional roast potato and sweet potato because come on, you can never have too much of carbs (according to them). Thankfully, they were cubed fairly small so makes for a great snack in between.
The chicken itself was quite nicely roasted, so tender that the meat easily cuts off from the bone. Not quite sure about the sauce which isn't the usual mushroom or pepper. But they could have given more of it as towards the end, I found myself with more chicken and no sauce.
