Coming here is such a hit of nostalgia. I used to frequent this place a fair bit. The food is good, so is the service and ambiance. But, that was many donkey years ago. How would it fare today? Well, we were here for New Year's eve dinner. Totally unplanned, so no reservation. Luckily, we came at the right time when a table was just leaving.

I like that they provide fresh/warm bread to go with the oil and balsamic vinegar. A colleague recently went to Monaco for work trip and the idea of eating bread dipped in that combo was almost unthinkable. Oh, you people so not know what you're missing out on.

 Lombardi mussel pots RM 33.50
Don't be fooled but this one certainly packs quite a lot that I'd recommend you either share it or have it as your main. Big and juicy, the mussels were cooked just right, so no rubbery texture. I do love the butter and herbs combo that was perfect with the toast.

Seafood marinara cioppino RM 38.50: A medley of king prawns, blue mussels, calamari rings and shrimps sauteed in a hearty thick broth, chopped garlic, mixed spices, marinara sauce and tossed in spaghetti. Topped with fried spinach and drizzled with chili oil.
At a glance, this looked like your standard marinara (or any other tomato-based sauce pasta). After the first bite, it was clear that this was notch above. A bit spicy, totally unexpected from a tomato sauce pasta. They served it piping hot so the heat certainly turned the dial up a notch. Portion was huge with lots of prawn and the said calamari rings which unfortunately were overcooked. Again, another one that's fit to share for small eaters or if you don't order anything else.

Lots of cheese pizza RM 31.50: Alfredo sauce, mozzarella & gorgonzola cheese, fresh English parsley & parmesan with chunks of cream cheese
A vegetarian pizza since it doesn't come with any meat? Thin crispy crust, melting cheese, what more could you ask for? Perhaps a dash of Tabasco sauce to kick things up a little.
