Tea & croissant: English Breakfast

What should one do before starting on a full day excursion of sight seeing? Why, breakfast, of course. The church is something we passed by on the way to meet up with the rest.

They were staying in Premier Inn which was relatively new. It has a cafe downstairs. A rather limited menu but the aroma from freshly brewed coffee was enticing.

These are typical of their cafes. Marmalade, strawberry jam, honey and yes, the coveted Nutella to go with your croissant, sandwich, toast or whatever pastry that you order from them. If they provided this in Malaysia, confirm they are finished up in half a day.

I didn't want to order anything or even have coffee for fear of upsetting my tummy so early during the day but caved in to the coffee because of the slow onset of jet lag. The toasted cheese sandwich was half of another's breakfast as he couldn't finish it, for which I was very thankful because it was very delicious and it gave me much needed fuel for the long day ahead.

Bet you thought I was going to have a full breakfast, complete with bacon, eggs and hash brown. Well, not this day.
