Arab food has become more popular, judging from the number of restaurants there are. Or have I just not been on the lookout for them? This meal was made possible, thanks to Fave too.

Appetizer in the form of soup. It came with a side of herb crackers. They were thin and crunchy, rather out of place with the soup that could be best described as light. It's similar to those free daily soup that some Chinese restaurants would give. Except without much vegetable flavor. Almost like a chicken soup. Just not as strong.

Hummus: dip form of a thick spread of mashed chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice and garlic
Fun fact: I attempted to cook this myself. Looking back at it now, I think mine failed due to the lack of olive oil.

Luckily, these were way better than mine and probably how a decent hummus should be. Smooth and creamy, it goes easily onto the accompanying flat bread. Definitely a good way to be a vegetarian.

Arabic coffee.
It was listed as RM 10 on the menu which seemed quite expensive. Only when did it arrive that I felt ripped off as it was a very small cup. Then I made the error of stirring the cup that all the powder unsettled and I drank them too -_-

This had been a rather eye opening experience but too costly to repeat.
