The same franchise and possible the very same restaurant as SS2 Mall has since closed down. They have a few other branches in Klang Valley and they seem to be doing quite well judging from their breakfast crowd.

Har gao because the simplest thing are the best indicator of how good the food can be. In terms of freshness, that is.
These were all right. Kinda small each of them.

Yu mai. I love these over the fried version as it feels healthier. Those with a slight bouncy texture are best.

See that greenish thing peaking underneath that translucent skin? That's no good.
Why do people like to make good dim sum bad by putting in veggie or herbs or chives in them!??!

Char siew pao. Rare are these days when the buns don't stick to your teeth with more meat filling than bun itself.

 Thai style steamed spring roll.
Not spicy, just a tinge of it.

Loh mai kai.
Not forgetting my father's favorite, the steamed glutinous rice was unfortunately a little too sticky.

Cold steamed pork.
If not mistaken, it was the ear. Things like this are best enjoyed and not clarified (thoroughly).

Stir fry carrot cake. Any place that serves this in a beautiful mess with lots of egg sure does it right.

Ham sui gok. The only reason that I like this is its crispy crunchy sweet outer shell that's made of glutinous rice flour. Given the choice, I would eat just that and leave the filling aside. Stupid as that's where the good stuff is.

 Steamed layered cake.
This is how my dad's generation does it. Not many places carry these. It tastes sweet, kinda like the brown version but not as airy.

Egg tart.
Disappointing. Not flaky crust.
