Tea & croissant: Sleeping Beauty

The castle is difficult to miss with its majestic towers. Do all the Disneyland parks in the world have the same castle? I think they do or at least a variation of it as the masterpiece of the park.

Surprisingly, it's actually quite small inside.

The place doesn't feel crowded like Sunway Lagoon though the queue for rides is a different story altogether.

We all probably grew up with fairy tales and Sleeping Beauty is probably one of those romance that made us go starry eyed. Can we blame them for our misinformed notion on love, that someone will come and save us one day? Personally, I've never taken fairy tales to be a yardstick of one's love life. Sorry, bad childhood and early onset of cynicism.

The castle had stained glass that features scenes from the story. Yes, the text is in French.

Maleficent. Some say she's just a good witch misunderstood. Or a good girl that the world turned into a bitch. I don't know.

Growing up, the idea of a savior was foreign but at the back of my head, it was hoping for a Mr Right. I guess Mr Right is not too far away from Mr Right Now. Gotta take what life gives you.

Of course, it is sad of people who put their life on hold as they wait for that person to come and whisk them away. But it is sadder to belong to someone else when the right one comes along.
