Review: In House Cafe, Puchong

 Our local answer to Kim Gary, this is my second visit to the franchise but first at this specific location. Their menu is pretty extensive except if you are looking for a no rice/noodle/pasta option. Actually, that is a problem in most places.

Their HK style milk tea was disappointing as it was slightly diluted. Otherwise, it could give Kim Gary a run for its money (and Kim's isn't exactly that great either).

Salmon carbonara.
In vain hopes of eating something filling, this dish certainly didn't fail to deliver with its rich, thick, cream sauce. Cooked and brought straight to the table, the heat does make the pasta even more appetizing and that's really when you want to savor it before it cools down into a nauseating mess. They also didn't scrimp on the salmon, giving you a rather thick slice that's been pan fried until crispy.

So you get a sauce of your picking and this one is certainly great with the otherwise dry fillet. Thick and creamy, almost like my pasta sauce, only cheesier.

They have the usual HK char chan teng offering and maybe I'll come back for more.
