It is very strange for me that though this neighborhood is really just a street away, it falls under the federal territory and not state. That translate to no Thaipusam holiday but hello, FD day. As it is, we Malaysians already have way too many holidays in a year but like money, one can't have too much of those. So, the only time that I could make an effort to come here was during the weekend. That also was a lot of effort to wake up early. 10am is early when offwork.
Located on the first floor away from the hustle and bustle of the market below, this floor is mainly for the few stalls selling breakfast and some lunch. We ordered our drinks which weren't the best as they were on the diluted side.
Apom, similar to Chelo's. This is the original version which was not bad. The usual crispy edges and soft center filling.
Plain tosai since this was brunch. Love how they made it real thin and crispy. Tastes good with the curry and dhal.
Egg apom.
To turn something sweet into savory, I didn't particularly enjoy this combo. Probably that's my personal preference as my brunch date found it was not bad.
If only the parking here isn't so bad.
