This place is so synonymous with cheap fresh seafood that it probably needs no further introduction. During my childhood, we would come here for the very same thing. Except that back then, the area wasn't as famous and not as brightly lit. Roads were definitely more suited for 4wheel drives than your usual sedan. How things have changed. Except for the roads. They're still shit at some spots. Kampung Telok Gong,

My usual self doesn't usually go on social outings as they are usually a drag. Oddly enough, I not only initiated this but dragged someone else into it. Like their colleague from China. Whom I'm not directly acquainted with.Stranger still is they actually obliged and we ended up having dinner here 😊
Omelet with onion and prawn. They clearly catered this for the kid (in heart) with the crispy edges. Not great for the heart but this is only the beginning of an artery clogging meal.
Stir fry broccoli because bananas can't remember the names of all the veggies in Chinese and broccoli is universal enough that they all know. I tried cooking these at home, not disastrous but certainly more effort than I cared to give.
Steamed lala in Chinese wine and ginger. Love this type of shellfish with its juiciness and freshness. You can actually bite and taste them, unlike those pathetic mini version of it. Definitely order this if you want to feel the power of ginger.
Fried crab with butter egg floss.
The star of the night, yet the seafood was surprisingly disappointing. It wasn't as fresh and sweet as I would have expected or perhaps I overly hyped myself up. The floss was a nice touch, light and fluffy.
