This is my first ever vegetarian dining experience. Eating at vegetarian stalls or picking only vegetarian dishes at the chap fan stall don't count.46400 Petaling Jaya

I like the clean and pristine decor.
All white, down to their table
Brown rice to drive the message clear: eat healthy.
Plus, it's near impossible to have Thai food without rice unless it's pad thai.
Yum pak bung tod krob or crispy fried morning glory
Not so uncommon in Thailand but relatively unheard of in Malaysia, the Thai enthusiast eagerly ordered this. It's safe to say that any vegetable after it's deep fried tastes about the same: yummy.
Yod pak-kood fai deng or stir-fried fern
Picking the wrong ferns would mean having to chew through the fiber. Not cooking them long enough means they need more effort to break down. Do it all right and you'll be asking for second helpings of rice. This was good with a lot of chili to heat things up.
Grapow gal or holy basil chicken.
It's not actual chicken but imitation meat, albeit slightly better than those flour dough that you get at food court. The dish tastes quite good, if you're not a diehard carnivore.
Tomsom Tao-hu pak ruam or clear tomyam soup with mix vegetables and toufu
Have you ever had tomyam with star fruit? Well, now I can say I have. Without the meat or seafood, I wouldn't say that it makes that much of a difference to the flavors. You still get that slight sourness underneath all the chili. If you can't take the heat, ask them to go easy on the chili.
It's a nice place to go for some meat-free dishes. Just that the price is above average since it's all just vegetable.
