What sets local steamboat apart from Taiwanese hotpot in general? The price, for starters. Their menu is quite extensive with plenty of choices from veggies to meat. Came here for a birthday celebration with the girls since they all want something 'healthy'. The ingredients themselves are probably not a heart attack candidate but the hidden stuff? I don't know.

 To make it your money worth, the food is served in a social media-friendly manner. I have to give them credit for trying and delivering it quite well. After all, not only does it look good but it takes up way less space since they are all stacked.

 Fried bean curd skin ('healthy'!). Minced pork and raw egg.
The egg supposedly makes the meat more juicy and soft.

  Thinly sliced pork. They flavor the soup very nicely and have some fat to make it not so tough to chew.

Ending the night on a sweet note for the birthday girl(s).

Definitely not a bad place for steamboat hotpot if you happen to be in the vicinity and don't mind paying more. Both of which I ain't 😝
