The Ship? Both has been around for quite some time. Both feature a similar rustic Western decor. Both also not very cheap. At a glance, their menu is almost identical too 😂
I think we were here, courtesy of some promotion. Otherwise, it isn't a place that people my age would go to. Unless it's with their folks.
Iced lemon tea. Pretty good one as it wasn't diluted at all, that you can actually taste the tea and lemon.
Seafood chowder with 'sharkfin'. Is there anyone who still serves real shark fin with all the environmentalist screaming bloody murder over it? The soup was all right. It didn't taste like it came out of a can, nor was it very original.
Baked potato skin with beef bacon.
The skin was rather thin so it came out rather crispy. Although the green pepper isn't usually part of the dish, it wasn't so bad, lending the cheesy filling some green taste. I quite liked this.
Chicken maryland.
Just a piece of flattened chicken filet that's been breaded and deep fried. Presentation wise, it was a nice touch. Taste wise, nothing great.
