 If anything, my Filipino ex-colleagues have probably tried this place before me. Strange how we go out of our way to explore people's backyard yet we never know our own. I mean, how many of you can confidently say that you have visited all the tourist spots in the entire Malaysia before venturing out of the country? 

 Having said that, the entire Jalan Alor stretch is quite famous for being a tourist trap. You know for sure when you see foreigners trying to attract you to their stalls or selling all sort of fancy stuff, toys.
Does Wong Ah Wah deserve its reputation for having one of the best chicken wings in town?
I haven't tried that many in PJ, what more KL so that's a tough call.

 But, I do think that they roast the wings well to give it that crispy skin and a slight charred edge. The chili sauce is sweet and spicy, perfect with the wings. So, is it the best? Maybe, maybe not. I did enjoy it, that's what matters most.

 Of course, chicken wings alone is insufficient for dinner so we had some fruit rojak. Definitely a rip off despite us not looking anything at all like tourist 😡 Portion was small for the price paid.
