Located close to Underground , this is another one of those places that have garnered the attention of hipster/Instagram-ers, all thanks to social media influencers. I don't know about you but personally, how's that even an industry that managed to exists?
Much like this cup of coffee, it's an industry that relies solely on looks and nothing much else. If you lack the looks, you better have a damn good makeup skill or big boobs to make up for it. I'm not (entirely) bitter about not being part of the IT crowd, just wondering what happened to good old fashioned labor. But then again, running a blog really doesn't mean just going to the place, take good pictures, write a couple of words.
Maybe that's what I do, hence I ain't raking in the big bucks. Luckily, this coffee fares better than me with its creaminess and slight bitter taste.

Am I the only one who thinks that certain colors should be offlimits in food? Like this particular shade of pink?
The fish wasn't great to begin with but the presentation was a bit over the top. I get that they want to attract people's attention by being different but this? As a consolation, it didn't taste bad, just looked weird.
Beef steak aglio olio.
It does look like something anyone could easily whip up from the comforts of their own home. Cut some bell peppers, pan fry some steaks, slice it up, cook the pasta, throw them all together with a dash of olive oil. Finish with some salt and pepper. Voila, this is what you get.
Cheesy meatball toast. I think 😂😂
This was the most accessible of them all. No funky colors, no boring execution. Just decent food for consumption and not just Instagram. Taste was all right too but I'm happy to have something that looked.... normal.
To be frank, it was probably a mistake to come here and have a proper meal because this is what they are famous for:
It was a trend that started in Melbourne before someone decided Malaysians would love it due to the sugar bomb that it is. Of course, I won't lie to say that it was bad but it is hard to have this regularly on your own. Even if you don't take the calories into account, the milkiness can be a bit overbearing after awhile. But that's probably where the crunchy stuff comes in.
