This place has been around for so long that it's hard to tell when they started. Any PJ dweller would be familiar with this stall that operates outside a closed coffee shop with their customers sitting on the road side, spilling to the back lane. When I first got to know about them, it was from fellow colleagues. Only takeaways, never eaten there before.
So, this was my first time sitting and eating there. Although they've got the entire back alley, their tables aren't that many. We managed to secure one despite the busy night.
Ordered a fried chicken. It came with their sambal as we didn't order any other food.
Truthfully, its reputation is overrated. The marinade is certainly different and tad better than your usual mamak offering. Sadly, the meat itself was kinda dry. It didn't help that these were made in advance so was probably sitting there for awhile already. You'll enjoy a better deal at
Al-Ehsan.
