Despite being a no-pork establishment serving Chinese noodles, Noodle Shack has managed to keep the flavors good without having the need for some porky goodness. My very first time was at their One Utama outlet which can see a full house during lunch and dinner as their noodles are rather reasonable and most importantly delicious.
Their menu is almost limited. Dry or soup, spicy or not. Of course, the noodles come in different types of thick, thin and pinch. It's like a comfort food, to slurp on the hot slippery noodles with a touch of chili. I usually order the sambal chili shrimp and egg pan mee RM 12.90. Spicy enough to make it through the whole bowl but take it up a notch with their chili sauce. When things get too much to handle, have some soup to cool it down a notch. It feels like a very protein packed meal with all that minced meat.
