Movies: Chef (2014)

Having first caught a glimpse of the movie on HBO at my parents' place, it's unfortunate that my parents don't share the same idea when it comes to entertainment, among others.  So, it took awhile before I managed to catch it in full.

True enough, this is a food porn and certainly, much better than the sad excuse titled Compulsion. http://eatwritelife.blogspot.com/2016/11/review-compulsion-2013.html

While Jon Favreau dominates most of the screen time, there are other casts that helped to bring the story to life. John Leguizamo, his sidekick who decided to embark on the journey across the states to bring his brand of food to the masses, Emjay Anthony who's the adorable son trying to remain close with his father after his parents have separated. Even Tony Stark, I mean Robert Downey Jr plays a small role as the peculiar decorator.

It is a feel good movie that (again) tells you to never stop chasing your dreams.
