Everyone seemed to have forgiven and forgotten about the Ikea horse meat scandal, judging from the lines every weekend. It's not that much better during the weekday but that's way more manageable.
This is the kids' meal that came with 4 meat balls, peas and a dollop of mashed potato which didn't really taste like potato . That sausage was an extra order. If you haven't tried the sausage before, do give it a shot the next time. While not pan fried or fried at all, it retain its succulent flesh and still has a rather crunchy skin. Well, it'll make sense once you try it.

Chicken caesar salad ~RM 5.30. In my lame ass attempt to eat healthy, their salad turned out to be quite filling. Don't expect ultra fresh crunchy lettuce and you'll be fine. The salad dressing was unfortunately a necessity even with the cheese powder as the dish would have been wee bit too dry on its own.

Or maybe some smoked salmon at ~RM11.90. With a squeeze of lemon, these made for a healthy snack. Just not for your wallet.

I did say that I like the salad as it was not healthy and doesn't cost much. Also, since when did chicken wing become a thing in Ikea? Almost every other table had a plate of these that I knew I must be missing out on something.

Not deep fried so no crunchy skin/batter. It did feel healthier without oil dripping but don't think that it lacks of flavor. On the contrary, it packs a punch of spices.

Cajun spiced baked chicken with grilled veggie. I think it came with pesto sauce. Again, the chicken was too dry on its own although it did have a nice spice going on.
