fotea 茶肆, PJ SS2
Another day, another bubble tea shop. By now, you would think that the bubble tea craze has died down but that doesn't deter enterprising entrepreneurs from opening more of these sugary death bomb manufacturers.
Since there was no queue (or even customers), we picked this for dessert. Of course, it did help that they were having a buy one, free one promo. On the left is their golden pearl milk, on the right is their brown sugar pearl milk tea. The former was better in terms of their pearl being smaller and more chewy. The brown sugar pearl wasn't wrong in being big(ger) but it wasn't as chewy and the middle almost seemed undercooked.
Taste wise, both of them were mediocre. Perhaps I've been so used to the thick creamy type of milk that ordinary versions are rather bleh.
