Kelana Jaya is a big neighborhood of its own. The problem is trying to locate its hidden gems which are really hidden from the main road. Take this for example. Hence, we were curious to see where Offpeak would bring us to. It turned out to be at a condo unit. The funny thing was the place was dimly lit and there was no one else that we thought the place closed down.
Breakfast platter.
Lets just say that I think I can do a better job than this. Maybe it was a slow night so the chef delegated the task to his assistant. The only saving grace is the omelet that had the right texture; not too cooked, slightly runny.
Grilled chicken chop.
The chef decided to return after looking at the pathetic result of his assistant and made this one himself. Fries were freshly fried and that's a decent looking coleslaw for once. The chicken was perfectly cooked, sauce was the usual brown pepper sauce.
Kelvyna Cafe is one of those that focuses more on the ambience than food. So, good for catchup, bad to satisfy your hunger.
