Looking at how well Uncle Don was doing with the promise of cheap beer and good food, Brew House decided they want a piece of the pie and opened up restaurants with similar concept.

At a glance, it's too easy to mistaken Brew House for Uncle Don as both restaurants are packed to the brim, the service is run by Filipino crew. Heck even the waiting time is similar. We ordered some cocktails while waiting for food to arrive as it was just too noisy to have a decent conversation. My mojito and his vodka shot weren't potent which was close to what you paid for (read: not expensive).

Hamburg steak: Homemade Pork Patties / Stout Onion Sauce / Fires / Sauteed Vegetables
The patty/steak may look dry and it was only slightly better on the inside. Made of minced pork and onion packed together, it wasn't dense. There were some fatty bits so it was a bit juicy too. Quite good.

Seafood pizza: Marinated Seafood / Basil / Capsicum / Cheese / Onions / Chilli Flakes
The moment it arrived at the table, so did my regret as the stench smell of seafood lingered in the air. While I can't say for sure that it's because the seafood isn't fresh, they were all overcooked, thanks to the baking for the cheese to melt. Similar to Uncle Don's, they used thin crust with an almost generous dose of cheese. There were some scallops and mussels along with shrimps.

I would go back there again to try their porky pizza 🐷
