Compared to their sister restaurant located just above them, Cafe 96℃ is rather quiet. It's not surprising since Mizi is very popular in the Japanese buffet steamboat scene. Bandar Puteri,

Iced honey milk and iced honey lemon. I've never hard iced honey milk before and it came in the form of a milkshake. Rather creamy and almost too sweet. But that's because milk isn't something that I take to easily unless if it with cereal.
Their menu is very extensive, covering from local to western, ala carte to set meals. Snacks are thrown in as well if you want small bites.
Their Western set even came with a warm and fluffy bun with butter. I was impressive, to say the least.
Chicken chop. Although it wasn't deep fried, the chop was given a similar treatment, rendering the skin slightly crispy. I take comfort in that they didn't drown it in batter. The brown sauce was pleasant enough to make the meat juicy. Coleslaw tasted not bad with the surprising addition of raisins.
Stir fried mee hoon.
Not sure why but I'm craving for stir fried mee hoon lately. How many versions of this dish are there? There this plain one and the Singaporean style that's slightly sweet. Lets not forget the tom yum version but I don't know for sure if the Chinese tai chow does that.
This particular one had a generous heaping of seafood and egg. While they weren't superbly big or fresh, the point is that they made an effort instead of serving you a plate of noodles.
Nasi lemak with curry chicken. While the rice was quite aromatic with coconut milk, I find that the curry chicken was a tad of a disappointment. Curry flavor was OK but the chicken itself was quite small. Not really worth the money. Also, the sambal wasn't spicy enough, a bit too sweet as well.
Salted egg fried rice. This is what happens when you want to eat few items from the menu: You order the other one for your date 😆
It turned out not bad but don't expect it to be bursting with salted egg flavor because they are scattered around and in the heap of rice.
