As illogical as love's true nature is, it does take a bit of brain work to make it work/last.
Thus, it is entirely all right to let go off someone whom you seem to click on many levels but deep in your consciousness, there is that nagging feeling not to let it progress into something serious.
And so, nip it at the bud.
