Roast & Grill, The Curve
Actually, I was looking forward to the buy 2 free 1 deal from their sister company but it turned out that I was a day late 😓 Fortunately enough, the waiter was kind enough to direct us next door where the same promo was still on. Well, being the cheapskate that I was (and too lazy to figure out where), we decided to give this a try.
Their honey bun was served warm and fluffy. Sliced it in half, sweep some butter across and let it melt in your mouth. Oh, free flow of the bun though I would recommend that you save some tummy space for the mains which were actually not that small.
Btw, the promotion has sadly ended but their food is quite good.
Fish and chips.
Two fairly sizable fillets, lots of chips and a serving of salad. Quite a complete meal on its own. Crunchy chips, crunchy salad, fresh fish, what more could you ask for?
Rosemary baked chicken on top of mashed potato. We thought that this was going to be just chicken. Turned out the potato is easily the size of one chicken fillet. Although they did use chicken breast, it wasn't too dry.
Baked risotto with seafood. What's with tomato sauce and capsicum? Do they work so well together? Can you tell that I don't like capsicum? That aside, it was a rather cheesy dish and not too fishy tasting overall. The seafood was kinda overcooked which was expected when you bake it for the cheese to melt. Definitely one to share.
