Despite all my rants about eating with kids, there's a silver lining to be found. For instance, when they scream for ice cream, you also get to have ice cream. Provided that their parents succumb to it. Of course, if your parental friends are strict or you're too dirt poor, there are other alternatives to enjoy it cheap(er).

Fruit Blossom RM 32.90: A crunchy waffle basket holds mini scoops of strawberry, mango & raspberry, blueberries & cream, vanilla and raspberry & mango sorbets. Beautifully served with strawberry sauce, almond flakes, whipped cream and strawberry slices.

 Häagen-Dazs is one of those rare places where what you get is what you see in their menu. Beautifully so. Of course, the taste is impeccable, no doubt worth every dollar you paid for. However, eating here itself is an experience.

If you are looking for the full-on indulgence experience, might I suggest the fondue?
