One of the few places that piqued my interest, I snapped up the GroupOn deal almost immediately.  At the time of writing, the deal is still available so, you should go grab it if you're keen. Also, please give me some brownie points for blogging about a joint that hasn't since closed down. Though, maybe my visit cursed them to it.

 Seafood supreme RM 28.90

tg left the ordering to me because he's clueless with food in general and thought a foodie can't do that bad. I'd like to think it's true but it would be nicer to be known for something else apart from having tried many more than normal variety of food. Like good photography or writing skills.  Yea, I've given up on being pretty and the likes.

Crab stick, egg and salmon maki topped with cereal. Lightly drizzled with spicy sweet chili sauce, these were made to order. Good thing is that ensures freshness and the roll doesn't end up being wet and soggy. Bad thing is it means having to wait and that's not fun especially after an hour long commute in bad traffic and weather conditions.

 Crunchy tempura roll RM 22.90

Fried shrimp with avocado filling maki.
My first time having deep fried maki, it does have a nice crunchy outer skin. Again, you can taste the sweet freshness of the prawn. Like all other Japanese fried food, it doesn't leave you with that oily aftertaste.

This place is famous for their customization sushi (to your liking) but our brains were just too fried and decided to go with whatever the menu had. Definitely not one of those traditional sushi joints, more of a fusion type. All the rolls are above RM 20 but what you get in return is portion and fresh ingredients.
