Occupying the lot of the former ill-fated Korean bakery, White Sand Cafe offers pretty much the same thing: bakery with Instagram-friendly lighting and decor.
It's just my phone that's not doing justice to how bright it really is. Like my phone, I didn't have much hope for the place. This was the only thing that we were willing to settle for in this hood of most pubs and dying food joints.

Fish and chips. Food took awhile to arrive despite the place not being very crowded. Luckily enough, the food was not bad. Crispy fish with freshly fried fries. 

Burger with potato wedges. Don't be fooled but this was a rather huge portion.

While the patty wasn't your Ramly kind, I think they could do with a better one. Maybe something that has a wee bit better of texture than just compressed minced meat? But, the one thing that they very well was layering the bun, egg, meat, veggie together. It was impossible to be ladylike to eat it. For the portion, it was quite cheap too (about RM 23).
