The lesser popular SS2 but still got the same parking problem, of the few shops that are left here, majority of them command quite a following. Noodle King House is a newer one offering different types of soup noodle. Think of it as
Go Noodle House but with more choices.
Tried their
kat chai shun mui since it was a hot day. Sweet enough to quench the thirst.
Deep fried bean curd skin. Kinda like an appetizer with its crunchy texture, not oily so that's another plus point.
Milky fish head soup noodle. They were rather generous with the fish, just be wary of the bones. Soup had a nice milky taste and a hint of ginger with some tomatoes.
Oyster soup noodle. Certainly not the same as your usual pork soup base, this one has a slight fishy taste from the shellfish. Only for those who likes oyster and don't mind the taste. Otherwise, the chili sauce does a fine job of making everything spicy.
Slightly cheaper than Go Noodle but with more variety.
