From the outside, it looked like another one of those China cafes but it's actually just another local joint. The most interesting thing on their menu was the butter coffee. Sadly, we were there for dinner so coffee was out of the question.
Claypot curry mee. After all, how else can you make your customers sweat more from your curry if not by cooking it in a claypot? Fortunately, they didn't serve it immediately so it was blistering hot from both the curry and heat. Apart from it being way too oily, it was quite a good version of the boring curry noodles. Quite a lot of meat (
char siew and
siew yok). The dried bean curd skin also was a good surprise. Definitely recommend this.
Wantan mee with roast chicken. The noodles were springy with the right amount of soy sauce. Chicken was also quite good, generous with the portion.
If I ever do make it for lunch, will definitely try out their coffee and breakfast menu.
